Corrections and clarifications: An earlier version of this story included incorrect terms for Jaguars linebacker Josh Allen, who agreed to a 5-year, $150 million extension.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have locked up pass rusher Josh Allen to a lengthy contract extension that will avoid him having to play under the franchise tag this coming season.
According to ESPN, the five-year, $150 million contract includes $88 million guaranteed.
Allen, 26, tied for second in the NFL in sacks last year with a franchise-record 17.5 and was named to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his five seasons.

Since being limited to just eight games in 2020 due to a knee injury, he ranks sixth in the NFL in QB pressures (228) and tied for 10th in sacks (32).
